Bridal questions
Do I need a trial?
A trial is a relaxed session before the wedding where we design and perfect your look, priced at £70. It is the best way to make sure there are no surprises on the morning. I have written up what actually happens at a trial and how to prepare for yours.
How much is wedding makeup?
Wedding day bridal makeup starts at £180, and the bridal trial is £70. What you pay depends on the look and what else you need on the day, so send me your details and I will confirm.
Can you do my bridesmaids and family?
Yes. Bridal party makeup is planned alongside yours so the morning runs to time. Tell me how many people and what time you need to be ready, and I will work backwards from that.
Do you travel to the venue?
Yes. I am based in Bedford and travel roughly an hour for weddings, which covers Bedfordshire and the towns just over the border. Send me your date and venue and I will confirm.
When should I get in touch?
Six to twelve months before the wedding is ideal, especially for a weekend date. If your date is sooner, still ask. Cancellations open up and I may be able to fit you in.
Can you do lashes and brows for the wedding too?
Your bridal makeup includes brow styling and false lashes. Lash and brow treatments such as a lift, a tint or lamination are booked and paid for separately, so tell me early and we will get them in the diary before the wedding.
Do you take a deposit, and what if I need to cancel?
Wedding dates get booked one to two years ahead, so a booking fee is needed to hold your date and it is not refundable. Cancel more than six months before the wedding and there is nothing further to pay. Within six months, the booking fee is not returned.
